A generous selection of items available and on display. Chips were crisp and evidently cooked in clean oil to a high standard. Staff efficient, attentive and personable to a fault. A highly effective team. A solid choice for classic fish & chip style food. Would heartily recommend to anyone within distance.

Good food, generous portions and good service.
Normally i have good experiences however the last two times ive ordered for delivery, the food has arrived cold and has missed things like mint yoghurt sauce etc.
Absolutely amazing place! Zan Fish has quickly become a chain around Derbyshire and everything about it is amazing. First of all, the staff are so lovely and if you want food to be cooked a certain way then they will do it (For example Halloumi grilled instead of fried) The chips are really amazing - I have had them over 10 times and they have never disappointed. As a family we have tried, the curry, peas, halloumi, wraps, fish and sausages and everything has been 10/10 They have started to do deliveries due to Covid, everything has always arrived hot and as ordered. We have ordered from them 3 times so far. Eating in (when you are allowed to) is nice as well, very clean, not many tables but that is expected when people normally take a chippy meal away. Some great little walks around Heatherton Zan Fish, we normally eat on the way back to Mickleover where there is a Tesco and little shops. If you are looking for a chippy in Derbyshire and come across a Zan Fish then 100% go in, they also do Gluten Free meals as well
